| Description | *Juvenile Arthritis Programs: Offers recreational programs for families who have a child with arthritis. *Supports clinical basic research on arthritis. *Public Education Programs: Informs and educates the public about the warning signs of arthritis. Early diagnosis and treatment is critical to the prevention of the disability and pain. *Financial Assistance/DME Programs: Offers limited financial help to pay for prescription medications, course fees and durable medical equipment for persons who have arthritis. *Disease Management Programs: Professional treatment to improve the quality of life for those with arthritis and their families. Includes Arthritis Aquatic, PACE (People with Arthritis Can Exercise), Arthritis Self-Help Course, Fibromyalgia Self-Help Course and support groups. |
