How can I/my organization become apart of the St. Charles County COAD?
Becoming part of COAD is simple. Meetings are open to visitors, so please feel free to stop by and learn about what COAD is doing in your community. A membership form is available at the COAD meetings, as well as on the COAD Membership page.

When are the COAD meetings? 
St. Charles County COAD meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. at Sts. Joachim & Ann Care Service, 4116 McClay Rd, St Charles, MO 63304

What happens at a COAD meeting?
A COAD meeting agenda varies depending on the community needs or goals of the COAD.  In general, the meeting will include a review of COAD business and a speaker discussing a topic related to emergency planning.  

How is the COAD funded?
The St. Charles County COAD is operated by local volunteers and local government representatives. Because COAD is a volunteer organization, no local tax dollars are used to support its activities. Some intiatives may be funded through grants or private donations.   

Why is a COAD needed?
COADs are necessary to provide proper planning and support for the local community before, during, and after a disaster.  Through the planning provided through the COAD, a community is able to more strategically use its resources during emergency situations.
